FAQ

1. What is your primary style of photography?
We do a combination of traditional and photojournalism, concentrating on the style that you desire for your event or session. Our goal is to be invisible at your event so that we can capture the spontaneous events as they occur. If posed and more traditional/formal shots are desired, we will work with you prior to the event to create a schedule ensuring they take the least amount of time possible.

2. How many photographers will be at my event?
Depending on the size of the event and the coverage you desire, we have up to two photographers for you to ensure we capture every moment. We can also provide an assistant who is a former wedding coordinator and stylist. She will coordinate formal shots, the schedule of events and any “must-take” photographs.

3. Do you accept a list of “must-take” photographs?
We make every effort to accomodate your requests in the time available. We encourage you to offer this list prior to the event so we can discuss how we can schedule them into the day and if they are feasable with your location, time of day, etc.

4. Do you shoot in color, black and white, or both?
We shoot all events and sessions digitally in color; they can be converted to black and white or sepia tone after the fact. If you desire your event only in black and white, we can accomodate that request.

5. Do you retouch photographs?
We only retouch images when necessary to adjust color balance. If you desire more specific retouching, do let us know and we can discuss options.

6. How many weddings/events do you shoot a weekend/day?
We never shoot more than one a day. We are committed to you and your special event all day long.

7. What is your typical schedule for a wedding?
Our schedule is flexible and works with you. We usually start a wedding with one photographer capturing the bride getting ready and one capturing the groom getting ready.

During the ceremony, we have each photographer in a different location to ensure we capture the best moments and images of the couple as well as the wedding party and guests.

We can conduct the posed/formal shots before or after the ceremony. These take 15-40 minutes depending on the size of the party. Our assistant will work to organize all of your family and wedding party so this is a smooth process.

Once the reception takes place, we try to be invisible, capturing all the candid moments.
